The light black pelt gleamed with white lather, nervous sweat. Her mane lay matted to her neck and her tail still as she lay on the ground,in foal. Star produced a peircing whistle that bounced around the barn several times before Grant finally rushed in. Grant hurriedly ran to Star's side and placed a cool cloth on Star's forehead and Star leaned into the touch as Grant placed a warm hand on her belly that was rippling with muscles and the foal that was moving about.

For what seemed like hours,thirty minutes passed and not a single part of the foal had entered the world. Grant was hurriedly running back and forth between her truck and Star asshe gathered supplies for a c-section, the only hope to save the foal that was stuck in case removing it manually didn't help. Grant ***** *** ***** ** ****** ****** ** ******** ****** *** ****. But the foal luckily came out with Grant's help and Grant removed her gloves to wipe as sweaty hand over her forehead. Star leaned over to sniff the newborn lump of blue-ish gray fur,which looked to be of blue roan colour. Her gleaming blue eyes distrubed Grant though, they were too light and looked as if the foal would be blind. Grant could only hope that the filly wouldn't become blind. She came from great bloodlines and would make a great racehorse by the looks of her legs.
