The friesian stallion trotted across the cobblestone courtyard, hooves clacking. His rider sat deep in the leather saddle, on a light grey blanket underneath. She sat tall, with long, straight, silvery blonde hair that fluttered as she sat. When the pair got onto the trails, she shifted her weight, and he took off at a steady hand gallop, mane, tail and hair streaming behind them. When they broke out of the woods, she directed him off of the trail, and he took off, leaping logs and splashing through the river. She didn't stop him until they were very far from the main trails. She pulled him up, and dismounted, taking off his saddle, bridle, martingale, and pad. She lay them on some low hanging branches to dry. Night grazed as lee sat down beneath the tree that she had hung the tack on. She leaned against the tree trunk, and dropped her head into her arms, Her hair cascaded around her face, hiding her tears.

Denis was on an electric scooter, getting some air, He looked over at her, frowning. He hobbled over and put a hand on her back as he tried to sit down "What's wrong?"

She started slightly at his touch, and quickly wiped away her tears. Night came closer, pinning his ears. "Oh, nothing." She said, looking up at him.

He searched her eyes. "Are you sure?"

She nodded, a little too quickly, but stood. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just giving Night a break."

He nodded, still looking into her eyes, he got up, with a little difficulty. He turned and smiled at Night.

Night snorted, ears pinned, shifting between Lee and Denis. Lee frowned and pushed him away. "Get over it, its got nothing to do with him anyway." Se muttered to her horse, and he snorted, stepping away, ears still pinned.

Denis frowned, "Well, I need to get back. Are you sure you are okay?"

"Ignore him, he's just over protective. I'm gonna go to the training track, you wanna come?"

Sure."

She picked up Nights bridle, and he opened his mouth, taking the bit willingly. She fastned it, then moved on, swiftly tacking him up. She walked along, Night following. "Okay, let's go."

He nodded, limping over to his scooter.

As he was limping to his scooter, she doubled over, throwing up into the bushes. Night nickered softly at her, ears flicking back.

He turned around and rushed to her side, "Are you okay." He held her waist, supporting her gently.

She slowly nodded, coughing. She pulled out her water bottle, rinsing her face and hands, and drinking a little. "I'm fine." She said, still catching her breath. "Better now than in the middle of riding."

"Take it easy okay?"

She nodded. Night gently pressed his muzzle against her back, supporting her. She slipped away from Denis and Night, leaving them no option but to follow. Night snorted, walking along behind her.

Denis followed too, his limp barely there.

When they got to the track, she took off nights saddle, and he picked up a foot so she could jump up. She jogged him onto the track, and leant forward. Night bolted, and they were flying down the track.

Lareta was watching on Ariba,since Ariba was appearently going to drag her here,now she knew why. Ariba wasn't that fast... Lareta tried to connect with Blackjack,who wasn't far away(Pwease Rockeh?). Come and i'll race you.

Blackjack trotted up to Lareta, ears pricked, ready to run. He didn't have as much muscle as he should, and you could kinda see his ribs, but he was rideable. Lee slowed Night down a little, taking him around at a hand gallop.

She dismounted Ariba,who had no tack on,she mounted up on Blackjack,walking him in the arena. "Go!!" She leaned forward into hiim,urging him to surge forward.

He snorted, tossing his head, slightly confused. He was on the track, but where was the sharp bit? The tight girth? The loud noise that released him? He pranced forward into an uneven canter, waiting for her to respond. Lee saw Blackjack and Lareta, and urged night forward. He thundered around the track, and past Blackjack, and then he was off. A black friesian running alongside a black thoroughbred, with a white stripe and sock. Blackjack was barely as fast as Night, and his run was stiff, not as powerful and free as it was. He didn't feel his burning fire to run, he didn't have the energy yet, but he was still skinny skinny. Lee grinned at Lareta, and woahed Night a little, his coat lathered.

He tossed his head in ignorance to her word, and Lee slowed Night to a walk, slipping from his back and walking off the track to Denis, her horse following intently.
