Indigo walked to the pasture that held Rocky, Latigo and Dancer. She leaned up against the fence, watching the horses sleep in the just rising sun. She would soon begin to train Dancer and she was pretty excited. She hadn't really trained a horse since about a year ago, when she was still in college. She sighed happily and climbed over the fence. She went and lay down on Rocky, closing her eyes at the warmth his body gave her. He twitched open an eye but closed it and went back to sleep.

He leaped onto Latigo and rested onto Latigo's back.

She laughed. "Copyer!"

Dancer woke up gently. She stood up and grazed.

Indigo smiled, "Hi Dancer." She grabbed a halter and lead and walked silently over to her. She held some sugar out in one hand and the halter and lead in the other.

Latigo's ears pricked and he looked up from grazing. Ricky leaped down from his position and walked over to the fence,deciding to just leap over the fence he walked to the tack room,grabbing a blanket,saddle and bridle he walked out a gain with the stuff he picked out in hand. He sat it down on the fence and then leaped over,he put the blanket on,then the saddle,then he put the bridle on. He leaped onto Latigo and looked at Dancer and Indigo again.

Indigo smiled, "Good girl, its okay... take the sugar."

She looked up and took the sugar.

Indigo slipped the halter over her nose and sniped it shut, then she clipped on a leadrope.

Dancer snorted.

"Good girl." Indigo grabbed a training set and set the strap on her back.

Dancer replied with a small "Are you serious?" look, but still obeyed.

Indigo laughed. She clipped on a lunge line, then changed her mind. She pulled off the training set and clipped a lead rope on instead and walked her to a round pen and took everything off. She yelled loudly and threw her hands in the air.

Dancer started to circle the pen.

Indigo threw her hands up, stepping forward, driving her faster.

She sped up.

Indigo waited for the signs.

Dancer lowered her head.

Indigo slumped her shoulders and turned away from Dancer.

Dancer walked up ehind her.

Indigo felt the horses breath on the back of her neck and she smiled, she turned around and pet her nose. Now forthe real test, she walked a few paces to see if she would follow.

the horse followed willingly.

Indigo smiled and turned around, petting her nose. She put the training kit back on and did the side straps up to bend her head. She took a lunge whip and cracked it behind Dancer.

She started off lazily.

She clicked her tounge, "Come on girl." She tapped the whip on her rump.
