Indigo sighed, she had recently sold all of her horses except her very first one Rocky. That was her jumping horse she loved that horse to death. She moved her stable here not to long ago. She had a barn with 20 stalls, 2 pastures with shelters, 5 wash stalls, a tack room, a feed room, a round pen, and a house. The land was very run down and would cause a lot of fixing up, but nothing she couldnt handle. She had already installed plumbing, lighting, and gas. She fixed up one shelter in the biggest pasture for Rocky and bought a water trough and feeder. She had quite a bit of money left over from her horses that she sold and planned to use that money on fixing the rest of her property.

Rocky- He looked around his new home. He liked it, he was sure he would like it even better once it was all fixed up and he had a mate. He whinnied to Indigo and walked over to her he lipped at her pony and nuzzled her gently.

Indigo guessed she better get to work. She walked straight to the barn with red and white paint . she already had lumber and nails by the barn. She begun quickly nailing in boards where they were missing...

Rocky- he whinnied loudley

Indigo-"oh alright!" she walked over to the pasture and opened the gait. he trotted over to the barn and lay down in the sunshine. Indigo got back to work and by the end of the day she had half the barn done. She got up and put Rocky back in his pasture

Indigo walked to the entrance of the farm with Rocky following her like a puppy. She hammered in a sign that said "HELP WANTED" she jumped on Rocky's back and galloped back to the farm. She got back to work on the other half of the barn and painted all by the end of the day.

Indigo worked on the inside of the barn, cleaning out the stalls and painting and fixing up the feed and tack rooms the inside wasnt as bad as the outside so all she really had to do was clean out the stalls and paint and put fresh bedding in one stall incase it rained for Rocky.

Indigo had finally gotton a horse, she let her loose in the pasture with Rocky

Dancer trotted along the fence. She was scared. She had been captured once before, but she sailed right over the fence. She was tired, and didn't think she had enough strength to jump this fence. She finally gave up, admitting defeat.

The way that the mare was prancing around Indigo thought she would call the mare Dancer, "Easy girl, it's ok." she put her hand out with the last couple pieces of sugar in her hand

Dancer smelt the sugar, and slowly walked to it. Sugar, her favorite, did this to her. She sniffed the sugar and deciding nothing else can happen, she gulped it down and went over to the water trough. She took a big drink.

Rocky- "Hi, I'm Rocky, and you are?" he smiled at her

"Dancer," she replied shortly. She was finally starting to calm down.

Rocky-"Do you like it here so far, I mean I know you just got here but, do you think Indigo is the kinda person you can trust? I trust her with my whole life."

"Well, she seems nice enough, but you never know."

"I know, I have been with her since I was born, tell me about yourself?"

"I am a throughbred, I was born in the wild, and I think I have a hint of arabian. I'm obvilously a bay."

"hah. yes you are obviously a bay." he smiled at her

Dancer smiled before starting to graze. "I like you."

Rocky smiled at her and said "I like you too." then dropped his head to graze beside her

Indigo walked into the pasture with a halter and lead rope and a whole lot of sugar. she walked silently over to Dancer, when she had gotten pretty close to her she said quietly, "hello girl," her head was bowed and shoulders slumped. she held out the halter for her to sniff

Dancer lifted her head. When she saw the halter, she shied and slowly backed away.

"Easy girl, its ok, I'm not going to hurt you," she held out a piece of sugar to the mare

She walked toward the sugar and gulped it down. She stood perfectly still.

"good girl, see look, this halter wont hurt you," she slowly picked up the halter and very gently rubbed it along the mares body "good girl, easy now."

Indigo lifted the halter onto the horses face. She slipped her nose through it and buckled it behind her ears. Then called Rocky over to her and put one on him. She clipped lead ropes on both of theirs and started walking to the gate. "Come on, we are going to go on a walk today, to get Dancer used to a halter." She had a lasso in her other hand just in case Dancer bolted. Rocky followed. Indigo saw that the horses were getting along so she thought she would take Rocky to get Dancer more encouraged to follow

John silently let Latigo,his black and white Paint,Thoroughbred,Arabian,Mustang,and quarter horse mix walked along beside him. Latigo's light blue eyes were twinkling. He was silent and perky,a new/green colt. Latigo was about 4 1/2 and 15.3 hands tall. He snorted as John walked towards Indigo.

Indigo saw the horse and rider walking towards her. She stopped and gave another sugar to Dancer.
" Good girl,"
Indigo looked over at the man, "Hi, sorry about that, newly fresh wild horse." she smiled,"Can I help you with something?"
