Cheslea kept her face slow, trying not to go at a pace Snowfire couldn't follow. She paused when he did, and smiled at him. She was glad he was at least a little happy. When he stared moving again, she walked slowly beside him.

Snowfire stumbled every once in a while, but he soon got a hang of walking in a way that he didn't have to put much weight on his bad leg.

Chelsea winced every time the stallion stumbled, each time worrying that he'd fall and not be able to get back up. He soon got used to walking, and Chelsea quickened her pace a tiny bit as they neared the pond.

Snowfire followed along behind her, his head drooping slightly as he grew tired from the strenuous walk.

Chelsea looked back, and noticed that Snowfire looked exhausted. She frowned, and slowed her pace. She'd have to find a place closer to the pond to keep him. Well, there was the cow barn that was next to it. She just needed to put straw in it, and he'd be good. She figured they could start the swimming exercises the next day.

Snowfire snorted softly, tiredly, as he followed Chelsea. He looked at the barn and flicked his ears back in confusion. He couldn't understand why the girl had brought him all the way out to a pond.

Chelsea looked over at Snowfire, and sighed. He looked so exhausted. She patted him lightly, then led him into the barn. Guess what biy! Tomorrow, we get to go swimming! She said cheerfully, grinning brightly. SHe loved the water, almost as much as she loved horses. She petted the white stallion, excitedly telling him about all the fun they were going to have.

Snowfire followed Chelsea into the barn, trying his best to keep weight off of his bad leg. The walk there had the pain flaring up worse than before. He listened quietly as Chelsea spoke, not understanding everything she said.

Chelsea patted the stallion's nose softly. She could tell he was in pain. I'm sorry. I'll be right back. She said, before walking from the barn. She returned a short while later with straw and Belles. [b]Brought you some bedding...and company." She said quietly.

Snowfire watched the girl go, waiting quietly. When she returned with Belles he let out a nicker of greeting. He looked at the straw and snorted softly.

Chelsea spread the straw on the floor, and smiled at Snowfire. You'll be staying here until your leg gets stronger She said.

Belles gave a light whinny in response, and nuzzled him. (Sorry xD Brain fart)

Snowfire nudged Belles' shoulder slightly when she nuzzled him before moving over to where Chelsea had laid down the straw. He tried laying down like he usually did, but a sharp pain flashed through his shoulder. He snorted in pain before he managed to get down on one knee and drop to his good side. He rolled so that he laid flat out on his side, lessening the weight on his shoulder.

Chelsea watched as Snowfire walked over to her. She smiled up at him, until he began lowering himself to the ground. No, no, n- Too late. The large stallion was already on his side. She chuckled. She was going to have a hell of a time getting him back up the next day. Belles made her way over to them, and dropped to the ground as well. She wanted to join in all the fun.

Snowfire snorted and lifted his head at Chelsea's voice. He nickered in amusement when Belles joined him in the straw.

Chelsea crawled over to Belles, and rested her head on the black mare's belly. She normally would've done the same with Snowfire, but she didn't want to put any extra weight on him.

Snowfire let his head drop back to the soft straw. He snorted softly when Chelsea laid against Belles. It didn't take long before he was going in and out of sleep.

Chelsea smiled as she watched Snowfire. she watched his stomach rise and fall with his breaths, and she listened to Belles'. Soon, she was slipping into sleep.

Snowfire woke in a daze the next morning. He snorted and tried to move but a sharp pain flared through his shoulder. Laying in the same position had left his leg stiff and numb, causing pain with any movement. He let out a loud snort and tried to get up, but the pain was to much for him.

Chelsea woke up to Snowfire making noise. She sat up, and, and crawled over to him. She petted his neck, and tried to sooth him by singing. She could imagine the pain he was probably in right now, and she felt so stupid. She shouldn't have let him lay down. Come one boy. You need to stand. Please. She pleaded. She didn't know what she would do if she couldn't get him on his feet.

Snowfire calmed slightly when Chelsea came to his side. He snorted softly at her words and raised his head. He tried stretching his leg, grunting in pain as he did so. It was very similar to when someone's leg fell asleep when they laid on it wrong.

(I hate it when my leg falls asleep ><)

Chelsea continued to pet him gently, and whispered encouragements into his ear. Come on, Snowfire. You can do it. I know you can. She said, trying to sound cheerful.

( Same here lol Definitely if I'm sitting on the ground and I have to get up T_T )

Snowfire snorted and tried again to get up. He managed to get his good leg under him, but he had to stop and rest.

(Yeah. I hate that >< Especially since I end up on the floor at lunch anyway xD That sounded dirty O_o Oh, and, chapter four of Believe is up :3)

Chelsea grinned as Snowfire tried once again to stand. She frowned as he stop the struggle, but realized that he was just resting. She walked over to the wall, where she'd hung a bucket of feed that she'd gotten last night. She shook it lightly, trying to encourage the stallion to get up.

Snowfire's ears flicked forward at the sound of feed. He nickered and tried again to stand. He struggled to stand, but he was quickly wearing himself out.

Chelsea sighed, and set down the bucket. Snowfire was tiring fast. She walked over to him, and whistled to Belles. The black mare ducked her head down, and place it under the white stallion's stomach, pushing up gently.
