Thee stable hands lead in a purple/black mare. She was very skinny. Her neck bones, spine, rip cage, and hip bones were clearly visible. The only strange thing was, her stomach was nice and round. She was obviously very pregnant. Her head was low to the ground, and she nervously flicked her tail. If you looked in her eyes, they'd be blank, and uncaring. It would seem she was dead inside, as she was.

Wes Dening, a guy who does a TV-show and owns a barn, came running down the bleachers he shot his hand up quickly. If had money from a TV-show and now spending it all on this horse he didn't care. He needed a new horse, and probably a nice foal. He only had one horse so far, he was lucky because his neighbor, Chelsea had tons of em! He knew when to collect and then set em free, he was smart...for a blondie anyways.

No hands were raised, except for one.Who wanted an emaciated, pregnant mare who was untrusting/loving of humans? The bidder said sold to the man, the price, a measly $90.


Wicca just stood there, looking sorry for herself. She flicked her ears forward when the hand shot uo. What was that for? Why are there so many people? She asked herself.

He jumped over the fence, walking to the auctioneer handing the money."It's alright girl, I won't hurt ya."He said calmly to Wicca.

Her unloving eyes looked up at him, and pure fear and pain shone in them. She backed up slightly as the man came to her. She hung her head low, and gave a low, almost in audible nicker, as if she was saying: 'help me'

He softly patted Wicca, "Its okay girl,"He said as if he understanded her, He gave her a nice shiny apple for her to munch on.

Wicca took the apple, but only because she was starving. She looked at him, and her eye seemed to ask: 'can you take me away from here now?' She felt a kick, coming from the unborn foal. She winced slightly, but a look of joy replaced the one of saddness, but was quickly gone.

"C'mon."He said gently tugging on the lead, to bring her into the trailer.

She walked in, tapping it with a hoof, as if to test it's stability. She finally walked in, and lay down. There wasn't much room, but she felt much more safe when she laid down in a trailer.

He shut the door, latching it. He hopped in the drivers seat, but the guy wouldn't let Wes do that so Wes dragged the guy out, and began driving to the stables.
