Thais had been ushered to return home by her sister Clio, but she'd really snuck around the front and entered the building through the front. She smiled as she ordered a drink, and sat down at a booth. She plopped down at an empty table, drinking her Dr. Pepper, which, of course, had no alcohol. She, unlike her reckless sister, was responsible. She sighed, and sat back. She needed something to happen, or she'd die of boredom. (Fail -.-)

Zack swirled the door open, nearly pushed in by his friend. He was dared to go in here, he hated his friends. He nearly lost balance, sitting on one of the stools. His head sitting on his folded arms, eyes staring at the clock on the wall.

Thais looked up, and looked at the guy who'd practically been shoved through the door, and who was now staring at the clock, looking miserable. She stood, and walked over to him, dropping onto the stool next to him. "Sh*tty friends?" She asked, and smiled.(Fail -.-)

He nodded slightly, his crazy bedraggled blonde hair even more bedraggled. He sighed still staring at the clock, he looked at his friend gaurding the door to make sure that he doesn't chicken out, he looked at Thais for a minute then back at the clock.

Thais raised an eyebrow. "So. How long did they dare you to stay in here?" She asked, taking notice of one of his friends standing by the door. She glared at him, emerald green eyes piercing into him like tiny daggers. She whispered a spell, so no one could hear her. Suddenly, a large glass rose off a table, and dipped, spilling it's contents on his friend's head. She laughed, as the glass settled back on the table. She gave a "haha" look, then returned her gaze to the one who kept staring at the clock. "I'm Thais. You are?"

"One hour. My name is Zack. Zack Hikari."He said, not paying any attention, to his friend screaming like a girl and running out the door. He muttered something about a cat, but the rest was silent. He turned to look at a little, bird managing to squeeze through the window.

Thais laughed as Zach's friend ran screaming. She glanced at the bird, and smiled. She thought birds were cute. Well, the small ones. She sighed, and leaned against the bar. "What did you do to get them to dare you?" She asked before ordering another coke.

"Spilled beer on a gangsters shirt.."He said, suddenly hiding his arm.He wasn't fond of blood, but he did get cut by that gangster. He wasn't bleeding too bad, it just got on his..pure white shirt. He heard yelling outside the door, his ear felt as if it twitched. He sudden felt that the yelling going on outside, was the essence of the gangster who had cut him. His cut flimmed, making him go into a bit pain."Shit...Not...again...."The yelling stopped, and his cut stopped flimming. He was strange...too strange.

Thais watched the door as the yelling started...and stopped. she looked over at Zach, and noticed blood on his shirt. She shook her head, and ripped off the bottom af her shirt. She pulled back his sleeve, and wrapped the strip of cloth around the cut, and secured it with a hair clip she had in her hair. She smiled at him. She silently cursed herself for not bringing any healing herbs, like Petra (her grandmother) had told her to do.

"That..Won't help me much..."He said moanfully. He was tired of this curse, he wished it would all would just go away. A sudden memory forfilled him, he shook his head. His cut flimmed softly, at the soft whispers that filled the air around him, for a minute then the noises suddenly gone.

Thais raised an eyebrow. "It may not help with the pain, but it'll help with the bleeding." She said softly. "So...Some kind of curse...Right?" She asked. She was a witch, so of course, she knew all about this stuff. (Hehe....Bringing in drama (;<) Suddenly, she stiffened, and looked at the door. It gently swung open, and Luc walked in, thankfully not drunk like earlier in the afternoon. She glared at him, even though he for some reason didn't sense that she was here. She stuck her tongue out at him once he saw her, and turned to the counter.

"Who's He..?"Zack said, not very surprised. His cut flimmed, he held his arm. He looked at Thais, then at Luc.

She sighed. "Old boyfriend." She said angrily. She felt him come up closer to her and she turned. Next thing she saw, was her glass flying through the air towards Luc's head. She hated the bastard for what he'd done. He moved just as the glass was about to hit him in the face. She gave him an angry look, and turned back around.

(taters...Mah Taters!!!! *Wails*)

"Shit...Maybe that was the guy who cut me...not a gangster..Please tell me he doesn't carry a knife..a pocket knife.."He said looking at the cut. He looked at the floor as if he wasn't Thais's boyfriend, He was trying not to get in another fight. On the other hand...He could call his buddy Dane Cook to get his rifle and aim it at the 'Old Boyfriend' 's head.

Thais shook her head. "Not usually." She said. "Though, he does every once in a while." She put up a magic barrier, and said a quick, inaudible spell, to protect both her and Zach. Luc was stupid enough to come even closer, and was suddenly knocked back, his cheek red from where Thais had punched him. "Go. Away." She said calmly. He stayed where he was, making Thais more p'd off.

"But I need to." He started. "LEAVE!" Thais screamed at him, and he finally ducked his head and slunk away through the crowd. "And don't come back." She yelled at his back before turning back around. "Hehe...Sorry about that. Luc just doesn't give up." She said, a hint of anger still in her voice.
