A young girl, barely seven, was running around the crammed alley, holding a trashcan lid full of bears, and serving one to anyone who asked- anyone. Even herself. "Good job, Reme." The mothers voice was angelic, but it didn't match her sickly appearance. Her ribs were showing, although that was what you would expect from The Black Widow. The mother of death. The bringer of doom. The creator of destruction. Just some of her many names. She moved gracefully for a crossbone shaped guitar. She picked it up, shooed the band onstage off with a scary hiss, and began to play her sad, sad song of heartbreak, fuled by her childs father. Look where he drove her. He drove her into this hell hole, ruined her life, yet at the same time... Without him, she would have never had her wonderful daughter. Tears strummed their way down her face as she sung and played, almost everyone staring. The little girl set the lid down and went backstage, protected only by a long board resting against the stage. A single couch lay in the corner, a bucket at the foot of that, and a cooler next to another wall. There were two rows of this. One on this side, one oon the other. Couches in each side, coolers and buckets provided in the one next to the stage.The ones far from the stage- those were "private rooms," and the other side was rooms for rent. A sign hung on each one, "FOR RENT- $1 PER DAY."

The girl layed down on the couch and drifted off to sleep as her motherrs song finished.

Amber crept in from the back of the alley behind the stage. She saw a little girl laying on a couch. The girl was skinny and about seven years old. Amber walked up to the couch making sure no one could see her. She covered the little girls mouth making sure she could not scream. She whispered "Do you want to go with me and have a new home and a new life because I will make this happen if you want it?" she looked worried about the little girl and smiled sweetly and calmly.

Just as the girl was about to shake her head, her mother came in. Her eyes were puffy, but she still managed to look frightning. "Out. Now."

She looked angrily at the mother. "What the hell do you think you doing to this child making her serve beer and letting her drink it?!?! You have problems lady and you need help." she grabbed the little girl in her arms restraining her from kicking and hitting and took off down the ally.

The mom called a mans name, and the guard at the gate took off down the girl, who was screaming. Finally, the man managed to cath up and free the girl, holding her close. "Well if you can't stand the fact that we live on the streets and the only pay we can make is from selling beer, well thats your problem!" She grabbed her daughter, held her close, and stroked her bolnd hair.

"I just want to take her to a better home this is no life for a kid" she looked worried. She looked at a gash on her arm from smaking into a sharp part of the fence and covered it with a wrap from her purse.

She paused for a moment, eyes studying her daughter. "Will she attend school? Will I be able to visit?"

"Of course! Yes she will attend the best school I can afford and I would never alow a mother not to see her child so you can visit when ever you want" she smiled sweetly.

e smiled, gave her child a grim immitation of the last one, and said sweetly, "Honey, this girl is gonna take care of you. She'll do better than I can. I'll visit you often." She handed the stunned-looking girl to the other.

"Thanks visit when ever here is my address" she wrote down "3471 Youchta Rd right by the park on the left". "Ill get you guys cell phones when ever I can." she smiled again and walked with the little girl in her arms to her car parked right outside the ally and set her down in the car.

The girl, still stunned, managed to croak out the words "I'm Remorse."

"What a.......... cute name" she smiled sweetly as she buckled Remorse in.

"Thanks. I go by Reme."
